The Hosted Merchant Application is a code-free, localized application that you share with your merchants. BlueSnap hosts the application and securely collects your merchant's data so you can onboard merchants quickly without building or maintaining your own application flow.
This solution is best for platforms that want the fastest, lowest-development onboarding option and are comfortable sending merchants to a BlueSnap-branded application experience.
Before You Begin
Before you can share a Hosted Application URL with merchants, BlueSnap must configure the application for your platform, confirm the required credentials and setup, and provide your unique URL. Work with your BlueSnap implementation specialist to confirm your setup before you begin onboarding merchants.
How It Works
With this onboarding approach, the merchant is responsible for entering, reviewing, and submitting their own application information.
-
BlueSnap configures your Hosted Application and provides a unique URL.
-
Your platform shares the URL with merchants.
-
The merchant creates or signs in to their BlueSnap application account.
-
BlueSnap reviews the application.
-
The merchant enters their business information and submits the application.
-
Your platform tracks merchant onboarding status through webhooks.
Sharing the Application URL
You can share the Hosted Application URL in the way that best fits your onboarding flow. For example, you can:
- Add the link to your platform dashboard
- Include the link in an onboarding email
- Share the link from your support or onboarding team
- Add the link to an internal checklist or onboarding workflow
The Merchant Experience
Merchants complete their application in a BlueSnap-branded flow. When they open the Hosted Application URL, they first create or sign in to their BlueSnap application account.

Then, merchants enter their business information and submit the application to BlueSnap.

Merchants do not need to finish the application in one session. Their answers are saved automatically, so they can return later and continue where they left off.
After Submission
After the merchant submits their application, BlueSnap begins the verification process.
Your platform should monitor onboarding webhooks to track whether the merchant is approved, rejected, or needs to provide additional documents.
