Payouts

With BlueSnap’s flexible payout engine, we support various payout and currency options. BlueSnap will automatically set your merchant’s payout based on the information provided on their application. As a platform, you do not need to do any additional payout setup.

For a complete list of payout currencies that BlueSnap offers, see the Like-for-like column in Supported Currencies.

BlueSnap Dash merchants can update their own payout settings in the Merchant Portal .

Payout by Region

For details about payouts methods by region, visit our Payout documentation.

Refund Operating Account

The refund operating account contains funds that are set aside—not paid out—to enable you to issue refunds even when the merchant’s account balance is low. The merchant’s refund operating account balance accrues from sales, and after the refund reserve amount is met, all additional sales are applied to the next payout.

BlueSnap Dash

Merchants with portal access can set their refund operating account amount directly inside the Merchant Portal.

BlueSnap Relay

When you send the request to create a merchant application, you set important refund configuration values with the following request properties:

  • bankingInfo.refundReserve — Amount of funds set aside to cover refunds.
  • bankingInfo.minimalPayoutAmount — Minimum amount required to issue payout to the merchant.

Split Payments

With split payments, you have one BlueSnap account that receives all commission splits on merchant sales. You can link one or more bank accounts to your BlueSnap account, and BlueSnap pays out your funds to these bank accounts. Each of your merchants has a BlueSnap account that receives their commission splits. To receive payout, each merchant must link a bank account to their BlueSnap account.

Your merchant does not need access to BlueSnap. If you have a white-labeled solution, you can communicate all account and payout information to your merchants.

To view your merchant's account balance, use the Vendor Details Report. Access this report through both the Merchant Portal and the Reporting API.
