Manage single sign-on access for your users
What is single sign-on?
Single sign-on (SSO) lets a user sign on with one set of credentials and gain access to multiple applications and services.
Why is single sign-on important?
Repeated sign-on requests are a hassle. As a business owner, you want to create a user experience that's simple for all who interact with you online, and single sign-on can help.
- Users can log on to your application, and if you’ve set them up with BlueSnap’s Single Sign-On token, they can connect with BlueSnap from within your application.
- Users who administer multiple accounts can log on to their account and see all the accounts they manage.
Benefits
- Your users stay on your site avoiding the BlueSnap login page
- Your users have fewer passwords to remember
- You manage who uses the BlueSnap Merchant Portal; for example, by setting up User Permissions
Setting up single sign-on
To enable single sign-on, you generate SSO tokens for your users via the Generate SSO Token API and this token provide access to the BlueSnap Merchant Portal from your environment.
